What is this Body Rolling Rx?

A Body Rolling Rx Workshop, is a recipe or prescription to take. In the first Body Rolling Rx Workshop, the focus is to Nurture and Free your Hips and Lower Back. In a group class, we will delve deep into the art and therapeutics of Yamuna® Body rolling.

If you have pain or issues such as Sciatica, SI joint pain, Hip imbalances or Lower Back pain, you will be surprised to discover how powerful bone stimulation and connections are. Realignment can lead to profound relief and increased functionality.

Live online via Zoom, with expert instruction from Taylore Carre and using our Yamuna equipment; we will use this extraordinary small ball therapy to educate, rejuvenate and realign our bodies. We will be starting with our Hips and Lower Back then will connect to the rest of the body by the end of the workshop.

Hi, I'm Taylore.

Most often, I'm training teachers and health professionals in a body wellness system called Yamuna Body Rolling.

As a structural and therapeutic movement specialist, I’ve trained hundreds of practitioners, and helped thousands of clients heal their bodies.

I got into this practice after suffering several debilitating car crashes and surgeries in my 20’s. Nothing gave relief, until I started working on myself. In a whole new way!

Your Home Studio Set up

We recommend that you set up so that you are able to watch from my Zoom Studio as you Roll. If you wish feedback, set your camera up so that you can be seen onscreen. If you prefer not to be on camera, you are welcome to join at your comfort level.

The Equipment Necessary

You’ll require a full Workshop Kit of Yamuna Brand, inflatable balls. We use them to identify muscle attachments at the bone, from the start or ‘Origin’, to the end or the ‘Insertion’.

Ball Guide & Kits

When doing the routines, we use a variety of balls to both “Work” the area from origin to insertion and to support other body areas.

Example, using 2 smaller with a larger ball to support the upper back is one of our most popular. So, 2 Gold or 2 Pearl can offer support as well, especially when balancing both sides of the spine.

Typically people under 5’4″, the Pearl Ball can be the favourite size. The benefits to the various sizes of balls will depend on both height as well as core strength, tissue type as well as your injury / history. The Workshop kit offers a simple way to meet all people’s needs.

As Pair, these are great for working both hips, legs, shoulders or both sides of the spine at once. Ideal for travel, deep release can also be done in the chair or in bed. Options are endless. The top seller and most popular of all Equipment – in combination with the Gold or Pearl balls will be all you need to complete the Starter Kit.

The “Beginners Ball” which has a softer edge, more give and support. It is versatile and can be used everywhere, in the abdomen, chest and sides of body (unsticking side ribs and shoulders). The ideal ball for working 2 at a time for increasing core strength, getting out of hazardous neck clench patterns, if you have osteoporosis, fibromyalgia or are pregnant or rehabbing after an injury .

Best for working small areas like the neck, armpits or between the breasts. Can be used anywhere in the office or on the floor or in bed. Great for travel – the same softer edge like the Gold Ball but because it’s smaller a little more intense and perfect for those 5’4 or under.

This hardest density ball has a sharper edge, gets deeper into muscles and is favoured by athletes. It offers more profound releases and a deep-tissue massage for working legs and the spine. Always avoid the ribcage with this ball.
